Should I buy Rift or Darkspore?

My personal answer would be go for rift! i own both games and enjoy both but find rift has much more to do in it, as you said dark spore is very repetitive, if you enjoy(ed) World of Warcraft then you will love Rift! in my experience of playing games Rift is better then WoW hope i helped!
