How would proof that your spouse is seeking attention and demonstrating care for her ex help in a UK divorce?

My wife has been seeking the attentions and support of her ex husband since August 2007 behind my back. When I found out she promised to stop but continued to do it in anyway. She says it's innocent but the emails exchanged between them suggests she has been seeking his attention, worried about his well being and finances, and has taken up interests lately that were his interests but which she did not appreciate at the time they were married. I would like to know how this kind of evidence would help me in a England divorce proceedings - if anyone would be able to comment I will be grateful and would not hold them to it.
