How to deal with people who tailgate?

where i live people all they do is speed and drive fast!! me im not one of those people i just got my permit back in december and i mostly drive above or with the flow of traffic but i maybe go 5-8 above the speed limit and there is always someone who has to TALEGATE ME!! and its always males i dunno why but it makes me so mad!!! sometimes i slam on my brakes to get them to back the eff off sometimes it works but i juss get to aggravated.. and if i am going down a two lanes road with so one else on there always has to someone who follows me no matter where i drive someone has to follow me!! i ask my mom if i can pull over and let them p but shes like NO you have to get used to having people behind you so im like whatever
